Nutrient mixture F-12 Ham, Kaighn's modification with L-glutamine. This modification favors the growth and differentiation of cells of rodent origin, chicken cells, primary human liver cells, for cloning of myeloma and hybridoma cells. It is also a medium of choice for clonal toxicity assay using CHO cells.
