Minimum Essential Medium Eagle with Earle's balanced salts and L-Alanyl-L-glutamine. It does not contain non-essential amino acids. The medium was developed to meet the specific nutritional requirements of certain subtypes of Hela cells and normal mammalian fibroblasts.
