EZAssayTM TBARS Estimation Kit for Lipid Peroxidation
[CCK023] Melondialdehyde(MDA) is one of such TBARS used for estimation of lipid peroxidation. This assay is based on the reaction of MDA with a chromogenic agent thiobarbituric acid(TBA) at high temperature and acidic conditions to form MDA-TBA adduct(1:2). This complex has absorption maximum at 532nm and can be measured spectrophotometrically between 530 - 540nm. Absorbance is directly proportional to the TBARS concentration in the sample.
REFRIGERATED GOODS (2°C - 8°C)
