HiDef-B8 400X Supplement Stem Cell Medium, LSS-204

Defined, feeder-free maintenance medium supplement for human iPS cells. HiDef-B8 400X Supplement (1.25 mL), when added to 500 mL basal media (NOT INCLUDED) , is a complete, serum-free, defined formulation designed for the feeder-free maintenance and expansion of human induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSC) in the undifferentiated state.

HiDef-B8 is available in two flexible formats:
​ • HiDef-B8 Complete Medium Kit: Includes a 400X Supplement vial and optimized ​ DMEM/F12 basal medium.
​ • HiDef-B8 400X Supplement Only: Allows the convenience of choosing a compatible basal medium.

Compatibility and Recommendations:
OLS recommends using its DMEM/F12, Highly Stable (Catalog #990801) for HiDef-B8. The 400X Supplement is also compatible with other DMEM/F12 formulations, supporting PSC maintenance on matrices from multiple manufacturers at coating concentrations as low as 2.4 µg/cm² (e.g., ~1:800 dilution of an 18 mg/mL stock matrix). HiDef-B8 also supports use with defined substrates.
